Dr. Shimon Steinberg has 26 years of experience in research and practice of biological pest control and natural pollination by bumblebees: Eight years to acquire a M.Sc. and a Ph.D degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and 18 years heading the R&D team at Bio-Bee.
Together with most skillful R&D team members, Dr. Steinberg is involved in developing novel mass production systems for biological control agents as well as state-of-the-art application methods for those natural enemies in the field; implementing IPM/biocontrol in open field and protected crops in Israel and abroad; and developing new applications of bumblebees for pollination of agricultural crops in Israel and abroad.
